Vania Vaneau
Formée à la danse au Brésil puis à P.A.R.T.S à Bruxelles, Vania Vaneau mène une recherche chorégraphique qui relie le travail physique avec un aspect plastique de fabrication et manipulation de matières, costumes et objets scénographiques, considérés sur scène comme des acteurs à part entière. Elle explore les frontières entre l’intérieur et l’extérieur du corps humain et crée des chorégraphies sensorielles fortes et imagées. Blanc, créé en 2014, a été récompensée par le prix Beaumarchais-SACD (Festival Incandescences 2015).
Trained as a dancer in Brazil and then at P.A.R.T.S in Brussels, Vania Vaneau’s choreographic research links physical work with the plastic aspect of making and manipulating materials, costumes and scenographic objects, which are considered on stage as actors of their own. She explores the boundaries between the inside and the outside of the human body and creates strong, sensorial choreographies. Blanc, created in 2014, was awarded the Beaumarchais-SACD prize.
